Terms of service

Draft for review. Have an attorney confirm this before launch.

Is a quote a booking?

No. A quote is an estimate based on the information you provide. A trip is scheduled only after you approve it, and actual costs can change if the airplane, route, permit status or schedule differs from what was quoted.

Who decides whether a flight goes?

The pilot in command. Under 14 CFR 91.3, the pilot in command is directly responsible for, and is the final authority as to, the operation of the aircraft. Weather, airworthiness and safety decisions rest with that pilot, and a delay for any of those reasons is not a breach of these terms.

What is the owner responsible for?

  • Providing accurate information about the aircraft, its condition and its maintenance status
  • Keeping insurance in force that covers the flight and the pilot flying it
  • Obtaining any required special flight permit before departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing. See the special flight permit guide.

What about the content on this site?

The guides and answers on this site are general information, not legal, insurance or maintenance advice for your specific airplane. Confirm requirements with your insurer, mechanic or the FAA. Questions about these terms: call or text (972) 559-0871.
